Peyton was wrong in s1 because Brooke was her best friend and you don't go behind your friends back w/ her boyfriend. I understand why Brooke was mad in season 3 finale, because even though Peyton was being honest (which i totally respect) who wouldn't be a little upset if their best friend told them they had a feelings for their boyfriend? But when Peyton kissed him in season 3 she thought she was gonna die. I'm sorry but if i'm dying and i'm next to the guy i'm in love with,i'm gonna tell him.

I love both Brooke and Peyton but Peyton is my fav character because I can relate to just about everything she has been through ( except psycho Derek ! ) sits hard for me to NOT take sides yes they both have done shitty things but I mean COME ON they got over it so should you and it's a damn show awesome one but it's still a show calm down and you can say how much you hate Peyton or Brooke but nobody ever seems to blame Lucas or Nathan ?

Sorry for the rant. Believe it or not, I don't hate Brooke. I love her in seasons 5&6 but she was just so childish in highschool and made a huge deal out of everything.

Let's not forget that at first Brooke only liked Lucas for his looks and Lucas liked her because she was funner and easier. Like I said none of the things Peyton ever did was an INTENTIONAL plan to hurt Brooke. It was just bad mistakes she made. Brooke in season for actually INTENDED to hurt Peyton. I don't think either are bad friends, but when you compare the 2, Peyton is an angel. But people are always gonna see Brooke as the freakin helpless victim who didn't do anything wrong.

I think it's HILARIOUS how people say that Peyton isn't a good friend. I seem to remember how Peyton actually tried to get Lucas&Brooke back together in early season 4. You know, when Brooke was being a selfish, immature, spiteful, jealous witch. Lord knows why Lucas wanted her back then. lol The ONLY thing Peyton did wrong was cheating with Lucas the first time. And even that wasn't an intentional plan to get to Brooke. She apologized and NEVER did it again. Lucas chose to be with her.

Two of my best friends had a fight in the summer and after many sessions of arguments, they eventually stopped talking altogether. At the start of December one of the girls mums died (her Dad had walked out when she was a kid) and the other girl, instead of rejecting her, or ignoring her, or making fun of her death!?!? Called her up and came to town to talk about it with her the very next day, and you want to know why? because that's what a best friend is SUPPOSED to do.

I think we all should remember that PEYTON told BROOKE first that she had feelings for Lucas, even though she wouldn't admit it.. Brooke took Luke frem Peyton FIRST !( The night PS was drugged, she tried to forget her feelings for Luke. (Remember?) And Luke felt for Brooke because she was easier than Peyton.) But I love PS and BD , and season 4. is the best season.. BECAUSE of all the drama ! :D

@shinebrite123 I agree with you but I want to just add that Brooke did the wrong thing first, she slept with Nathan and Peyton and Lucas never slept with each other, But I understand why it was worse with Lucas and Peyton because they had deep feelings for each other and it happened Twice, But Yeah if I were about to die I would do it to, but It doesn't excuse anything. I actually hate when Peyton blames Brook because she said that she didn't miss Lucas. Haha well that's just my opinion :D

@shewhofightsmonsters maybe b/c peyton was a victim. i hate even using that word b/c after all the shit peyton went through, she couldve gone down a dark path but she didnt. & im sorry, but once you make fun of someones dead mom, you arent winning any battles. peyton was honest with brooke. she told her she was in love w/ lucas & she even said she would burry it, but no, brooke had to get all butt hurt for a guy she didnt even love anymore. even rachel could admit peyton was being a good friend
