BCM29 - Bridge descent via patrolling Elite

Halo, level 5 ('Assault on the Control Room') on Heroic. For PAL Xbox this shows how you can descend from the first bridge by using the patrolling Elite to stop you on the near right ledge, something I tried after releasing BCM28. It won't work on NTSC or PC, as the Elite will die before hitting the ledge. It starts with a checkpoint routine for easing the work, then there's some fun with the Elite once he's on the ledge. Kick ass bro!! The extent I love CE more than the rest can be described as thus...I create new challenges for myself playing on legendary, such as saving all marines on each level (hey, on legendary this can be INCREDIBLY hard, as they often are their own worst enemy) or conversely, killing marines, to turn them against me, which adds a new enemy, and greater challenge...=)

@danusmc78 Yeah, those Marines do like to fumble their frags, which can be a bit of a health hazard. Plus it *really* ruins my day when they run me over in a Ghost. Actually I often grenade Ghosts over so they can't get in. Better safe than sorry!

Umm...Spartans are NOT Cyborgs.

@Digikid2007 You're referring to the 'Cyborg surprise' at 4:19 I guess. But in the game booklet, the term 'cyborg' is used in connection with MC and Spartans in general (described as "cyborg super-soldiers"), and there's some elaboration on what's special about them. So as far as Bungie is concerned, Spartans are indeed cyborgs.

@tibarion Thanks. The descent works for all difficulties if you have a PAL Xbox, but for NTSC or PC I'm not sure. Maybe the Elite dies before reaching the ledge, but I don't have those platforms so I can't check it myself. Tagging Banshees is a lot of fun so give it a go! Finally, you can resume normal play after a bridge descent by going up in the lift (bring it down first) then through the room and into the passage until the room's enemies get triggered.
