A yes, that TV series was first aired 1979 long before there was something like the Internet, YouTube, Common Craft, S4BB and so on.
P.S.: I like the video, but the background is a bit dark :)

Actually, the concept of videos that describe things in a very easy and plain war is very old. As a German national I remember a TV series (Löwenzahn; wiki it) made for kids which aimed to explain things in the same simple way, the same style ("Meet John... he has a problem... he wants longer battery life..." and so on). Yes, there were no such drawings but the basic principle was the same.
So my question: Did Common Craft copy from them and changed the format by adding drawings?
