Tinky's music is arranged to resemble the sounds of very old video games. This was helped by the track being composed on an original Commodore 64, using MIDI software which was written for non-musicians. The track was also partially recorded from the audio output of the same Commodore 64 as well as two PC-based 'VST' emulations of the old machine's SID chip.

A second, more straightforward arrangement allows the framework of the music itself to become more obvious.
