No offense please. I am a guy and I can cook it much better without the cooker. Besides freezing veggies is definitely BIG NO NO in my book.

@khalilnice Any regular pot that you use to cook your meals. Find one with heavy bottom. It will take longer and you may have to add a bit more water. Rest remains the same. When the Dal looks like what you see in the picture check one or two grains.

Salam Sfehmi, 1 quick Q for u..how do u freeze tomatoes i mean wash it and freeze it can i do it with large tomatoes as well..even green chillies can be done like that..easy and homely recipe..thx Allafiz

@farahcisco Yes that is the way to do it. Wash and dry than throw them in the freezer. I will be doing this again this season - I agree even green chillies can be done like that.
