Why would company's "invest" in this technology? We are far from having even a power source capable of making a robot like this useful. By that time it will be easy to make this piece of crap.

thats if they mass produce it, ASIMO is a wonder of engineering and cost Honda hundreds of millions of dollars, investment that will not bear fruit for any time soon.

the only thing that sucks is during the Q/A session the second question was, if asimo falls, can it get up? and their answer; asimo is designed not to fall..

based on the timestamp I shot this Tuesday the 9th @ 1:15 vegas time...
that does suck but i bet they can teach him how to get back up given time.
seeing asimo gave me a incredible feeling of being a part of the future that made chills run up and down my spine
