Too bad Reagan utterly failed to balance the budget as President.
-
I don"t understand, if Reagan knew deficits cause inflation and were so harmful to the U.S. then why did he take the nation from $70 billion deficits to $200 billion deficits? Not to mention the whole deficits don't matter attitude, which his administration is responsible for is the reason we have a deficit crisis today.

"Balancing the budget is like protecting your virtue, you have to learn how to say no!" AMEN!
THROW OUT THE SLUTS!

@mr19932001 well democrats controlled house with overwhemling majorities for eight years, and eight years before that six years after that. with democrats controlled congress, the only time that they had balanced budget with a lot of conservative democrats back then. and he said himself the 1982 deal he made with democrats made was his biggest mistake

@DarthMai Faux News and pain pill adict Rush Limpballs are no better than MSNBC, CNN, or ABC. Remember it was Reagan that said "Debts don't matter," and what makes you think I like Obama. He' just as CONservative as Reagan or Bush. He escalated Bush's wars, extended Bush's tax cuts for millionares, which addded $2 trillion to the debt, he extended Bush's patriot act, and he was willing to cut medicare and social security to please the facist tea bagging neo CONS like yourself.

@mr19932001 Read the true history and not just watch CNN, MSNBC, NYTimes, ABC..these are liberal media tools of the Democrat Socialist Party. Read the true history of Ronald Reagan, an Obama drone is always a drone..a liberal cannot be educated.
Reagan was such a good speaker. If only there was a conservative who had his humor and charm today.
