Since 2003 when teams had to win 16 not 15 wins to be the champs the 2011 Mavs have the best playoff winning % better than your 2008 Celtics. 16-5 against 4 title contending teams, not the scrub 2008 hawks who won 37 games & took your celtics to 7 games.

Actually, Dallas Mavs were 51-31, Golden State missed playoffs by 1 game in '08.

You have to remember, in 2007, Golden State was 42-40 and made the playoffs as an 8th seed. 3rd place in the Pacific Division.

2008, they were even better, 48-34, 3rd place in the Pacific Division. Just missed the playoffs by 2 game.s. Denver Nuggets were 50-32. That's how deep the West has been for years.

If the Warriors had just made the right tweaks, they could have made the playoffs the next year as a higher seed (5-6). But nah, they blew up the roster and their chance of ever making the playoffs with it.
