nice car.. and for the confused people: I have an 06 goat. and battling IRS is like going through hell and back. GTO's and the track dont get along too well without spending a lot of money.. so until then just join NRRA (National Role Racing Assoc) LOL

I have a 2005 GTO and I have alwasy had an engine swap in the back of my head. How did you get a 427 and an exhaust all for under 8k. where did you get the engine for that cheep.

It's just smart shopping. Texas Speed has the short block for 4399, I bought my headers for $500 used. Heads were around 1300. I traded a guy an intake I had for the L76 with injectors. All of the stock accessories off of my LS2 bolted right onto the new block. I then sold my ls2 short block for 1300 and my heads for 400. SO that's basically the build right there. I did my own labor.
