  • Most importantly, instead of sitting at a computer talking about shooting, I actually was shooting, which is the only way to improve.

  • Thanks for the advice (from those of you who offered it). The video was taken during my first outing with the CX4, mags were carried in my front pocket, the mag release is in a VERY ackward location(my only real gripe with this gun) and I was not familiar with it yet. This was also my first time shooting and moving and I learned a lot (example - reload while moving if you need it or not). The advice on moving the optic forward was spot on.

  • @Caboose91206 I thought there was no such thing as an ex marine.

  • always seek concealment or cover when doing a mag change. "concealment" is whatever hides you from the enemy, "cover" is what protects you from return fire.

  • how do you get into these kind of shooting competitions ive always been interested

  • very nice.. alittle long on reloads but nothing alittle practic cant fix =] i find that running dry fire reload drills at home will cut down in the amount of range time it takes to get consistant very well...do it right and learn it slow..then speed will follow

  • Each relaod time was around 7-11 seconds!! Man I dont know if that's going to work when SH#T hits the fan!

  • hav u thought about usin the .40 or .45?

  • very cool 4/5 stars

  • Man, On the one I used the magazine housing was tiny, was it like that on the other Cx4's? I dunno, there was something wrong with the ergonomics. Are they easy to maintain?

  • You're right man, I was unnessarily harsh. My apologies. At least you're man enough to admit you need to practice and smart enough to actually test your skills in a dynamic shooting sport like IDPA. I did the same thing you did several years ago and it taught me a lot about my skills and about how well my self defense guns work for me in a real world environment. Good job. Keep it up.

    Pitt, Out!
