Heroes Season 3 Preview - Villians

As tv-audiences were a bit disappointed with the shortened season-2 schedule as well as the previous season's finale, Heroes creator Tim Kring has promised fans an exciting storyline with the upcoming Villians volume. This next installment will reportedly track the hidden demons of the already-favorite characters as well as introduce a fresh cast of straight-out evil competitors.

The premiere episode, dubbed 'The Second Coming' debuted at San Diego's ComiCon. The first Villains episode caused an online buzz compared to the early days of Heroes and show execs are expecting to please hardcore fans as well as to take-on new followers this season.

In this episode, the pace is set on high-speed, with the story arcs of all of the main characters being briefly established. Some of our beloved heroes may transfer over to the Dark Side, as this Villains volume opens 4-years from now with an unexplained doomed future. The storyline follows that of a comicbook, featuring true evil, alternate futures, resurrections and dark conspiracies. Without totally ruining the anticipation of season 3 Heroes, watchers can expect to see some superheroes being locked-down, some powers being stolen, and of course, there's a little human-hero crossover.
