Humans are the scum of the earth. Racism, torture, murder, rape, pedophilia... Who is the real monster? Daniel or the Scavengers? I've always thought that that was one of the true messages of the game. Looks mean nothing. It's the interior of a person that truly describes them.

@avend666 Well said. It's a problem that is never going to be resolved. People simply make exorbitant amounts of money off of other people's suffering These "religious" individuals claim to be acting out God's will, which is the scariest thing of all. "Let's sacrifice them to our gods!" .. how about not. I can't stand religion because it is too easily exploited and manipulated.

@stewardo Also, this kind of torturing was and still is mostly used by the very same institutions that claim to be the benefactors of mankind - the church, in the past, via the Inquisition commited horrific acts of torture in the name of the good god. And ofcourse, the aristocracy of the past, now the rich and their lackeys, the governments, use torture on supposed terrorists and other sorts of political activists, as well as convicted criminals.

In the animal kingdom you find all sorts of that kind of behaviours - killing, apparently, canibalising, canibalising your own children, rape i guess, since sex is definately not alwats consensual there aswell ect. What separates humans from animals is the ability to trancend their nature and flag certain behaviours as good and others as bad.
