  • @TAPIJALAFE to be honest, it takes more than a week to get used to it. I dont know if its bad for your joints but after like a few weeks you'll get used to it. I actually found that with a wider stance you are more stable. if you watched seb's recent win at the US open i doubt he would have stuck the double 10 without the wide stance advantage. my stance is 21 in the front and -12 in the back. and when i had it at a wide stance it was a little longer than 25" but now I have it back to 23.5"

  • @NeroRome hahah TNX for the info, well I've ridden stance excatly wide as my shoulders are, and it's good, but I tried wider stance it and tested it for a week last month, but my knee started huting , i didn' know what it was from and my friend said it must be the wide stance... and i placed my bindings below my shoulders as before but the snow is all gone on my local mountain now and I'm not going to france till next month so i was wondering should i leave it that way or not.

  • @TAPIJALAFE you know what man, I really dont know! What ive done is ridden two seasons almost maxed out b/c ive heard it helps you build up your core for spinning and stability for rails and my legs were always sore after snowboarding..and then after the two seasons, I went back to a more relaxed stance a wee bit wider than my shoulders. and it helps! Im sure its different for everyone as toots and ettalas are testament to the wide stance formula haha. are you a wide stancer?

  • @NeroRome i've heared it fucks up your knees on every jump to have wider stance than your shoulders are... is that true?
