Richard Pryor through his comedy and imagination he let his audience take a glimpse at the miseries of the ghettos he grew up in. his jokes were funny while being frightening and depressing. he ran out of the ghetto, but the ghetto hunted his soul for the rest of his life. Richard's comedy was the voice of the unheard cries.

i find that no one even knows who lenny bruce is anymore, so i don't think its so bad to remind others of those no longer chic.
