@ImaginedWriter ...I agree that art seemed to be less inspired as time went on. Could it be that the Industrial Rev. had anything to do with this Art-barren period. I wish Mr. Clark had covered that period a little more. The Ind. Rev. was of more importance than the French and/or American revolutions, put together,....in shaping us as a people. Maybe I'm speaking too soon,... I have 2 more episodes to watch.

The art seems to get progressively more boring and less inspired as time goes on. It seems the creative energy of Europe moved to other areas leaving Art barren of talent, especially today.
