this is a traditional american folk song dating back to at least the 1870's and is thought to be southern appalachian in origin - the author is unknown but the song has been covered by nirvana, dolly parton, lead belly, the grateful dead and bob dylan among others

@JustForGiggles2012 hi, it's just the outside of where i was living at the time.. a cold, hard rained on floor, a bin, fence and a wooden crate for storing logs - nothing too interesting I'm afraid, but i think the rain added to the feeling of what i was singing :)
