Accepting the political statement of this video, if raising animals specifically for fur were to be halted, do you realize that all the breeding stock would be killed rather than released as their entire existence was in captivity completely devoid of the skills necessary to live on their own and those destined for fur would probably have never existed.

Just because the current animals could not be released in the wild it doesn't mean it shouldn't stop. Whatever humane solutions could be found for current animals, ultimately there would be no more breeding stock. Raising such animals would cease. Ideally anyway. People would likely still do it.

Actually someone in Denmark released some mink in a minkfarm, and they are now living just fine, by killing some rare birds and ducks. I don't know if this is just these animals that can survive, I just wanted to point it out
