Songs of Freedom is a television program which has been promoting a progressive social agenda since its debut in 1996.
The show features activists and artists, many of them musicians, their work and their vision.
This recently taped piece is about ten minutes long and begins with a song and a poke at the Bush Iraq "strategy." I then interview Ted Glick, a lifelong activist and good guy. Someday, if I am lucky, I will grow up to be like him.
The ten minutes here is the first ten minutes of a half hour episode of Songs of Freedom, one of two I taped with Ted. Sometime in the near future I hope to have both episodes in their entirety here on YouTube.
You can visit the Songs of Freedom website and find about upcoming episodes and viewing times at
www.singfreedom.org.
You can see what Ted is up to these days at www.climatecrisescontrol.org.
Stay in touch, and keep the faith!
