This is my experiment in stabilizing the widely seen Security cam Video of the Haiti Earthquake.
I used Virtual dub and the deshaker filter to stabilize the video and some contrast and sharpening filters to clean up the Overexposed video. I wanted to see what was happening to the buildings across the street. I know others have uploaded the same thing but I thought it would be interesting to see a side by side comparison

I think this comparison is valuable. the non-stabilized version may be very important to seismologists, who try to judge the nature of the seismic waves that first arrived. The nearest actual seismometer was >100 km from P-au-P. I'm sending my seismologist colleagues this link.
