unforgetable piece of special effects. too bad the carousel couldn't be used for our politicians today, without the special effects. uncontrollable cheering would take place!

@switcherx i think they felt it would not have been a success, as although this film did well, it was not strong on plot and a sequel would surely flop, a series can be watched from your living room and so an audience would be there,,,as it proved the series was weak, shoddy and not a success, but maybe less costly than a cinema release maybe.

Instead of making a series, they should have had a sequel to the movie Logan's Run

This movie was effects blockbuster, plot was not deep and impressive, thought effects were nice for the time.
