@CassiopiaPC Something must have happened I read a comment in one of these videos about someone who got blocked by Chris just for mentioning Brandon's name.
-
This is great information I would have never thought of! Thank you !
-
@BlackwaterOpsDotCom Did you and Chris have a falling out?
-
@CassiopiaPC @gundambob646 Even if any of that is true, I enjoy watching him more. He doesn't have a secret team telling him [Brandon] the answers and I feel Brandon whacks it out of the park each and every time and doesn't make a 6Min video with 2:50s of actual content and the rest repeated over and over.
-
@CassiopiaPC Yeah i know. I didn't really expect him to answer the question. Its a personal matter between the two of them but somewhat interesting still.
-
@gundambob646 Brandon never says much, other than Polite people don't talk about it. But I get the impression that Chris kicked brandon to the curb and didn't even bother to call him to tell him.

@taylor9124 From his tangent about view on YT being impressive on a resume, or "Recruiters would tell you different", I get the impression he applied for a job and didn't get it. Not that I think he has any remarkable skills.
Can you get a job as a Muppet? I mean He spends a lot of time talking out of his ass, and as a muppet you spend a lot of time having someone else talking through your ass. That's got to be close.
i have never used a resume. i am one of the best in My field. Companies know My name. the company i was working for closed its doors 5 years ago. i made one phone call the day i was laid off and before i hung up i had another job. after about a month i wasn't making enough so i quit. i walked out the door at 10 AM. was already working at another place before lunch. being the very best in your field is much more effective then a silly old resume.

@MrGizmo757 Best in Field doesn't get Laid off.
If you are the best, you don't make one phone call you make 3 and let them bid for you.
Also I make how to's for the masses, 100% of people can't be the best.

They taught us all through school we need a single huge résumé and that was all that mattered. Clearly they were wrong.
This video was very good. A lot of info in a short video.

@thedarkone2134 Your teachers likely didn't do job searches in this bad of an economy, nor in a world where recruiters use search to find candidates.

I have one thing to note, sometimes you also have to dumb down your Résumé as when I was working on a Comedy show in LA as a writer, I went for a job at Best Buy to learn how it all works and due to my Résumé, I was "Over Qualified" and didn't get the Job and told that on site, pretty dumb.

@lanceseidman The challenge with hiring someone over qualified is they leave. Best Buy would be stupid to hire me to work their sales floor. Sure I'd sell a lot of product, but I wouldn't stick around so they'd have to train someone new and training costs money. That isn't to say you shouldn't occasionally dumb down your CV. Just understand why you don't always hire the most qualified person.
