How to cheat at FFIX's Hot And Cold minigame

Yes I know, this isn't the way you're supposed to play it. But I found this out recently and decided, hey, why not share it? This is a video demonstrating how to effectively cheat at Hot and Cold, a minigame you play with Choco in Chocobo's Forest in Final Fantasy IX. What you need is ePSXe (I used version 1.7.0)

Steps to follow:
1. Peck immediately when the game starts
2. Save state (preferably during the peck)
3. Go find where the treasure is
4. Once you found the treasure, load state and go back to that same spot.
5. Dig up the treasure in record time!
6. Repeat 7 times to gain a massive time bonus

@MayweatherTop1 FF9 downloaded from PSN costs about $5-10 but the original PS1-version costs about $60-80 since it's a collectible. Impoverished? Think again. And since the PS3-version doesn't contain any changes made aside the disk-changing, playing it on PS1 isn't any more gay than on PS3.

Moreover, this is a nice cheat that lets you spare a lot of time in one of the most frustrating tasks in FF series.
