yes there is huge rays, threshers, other sharks, halibut, guitar fish, yellowfin croaker (they get big down there), and sea bass (over 500+lbs) ossasonally.

catch something good like a seabass halibut guitar fish or yellow fin, not crappy mackerel and tinny stingrays. and seorisly dont keep tiny fish like u did from 5 50 and on. and i can garente nothing over 200 pounds is in the water unless there is a surfer u retard p.s. ur rays are tiny as shit i only keep 20+ rays and i also fish from the pier

@drewsturrrrr hahahah this is my hometown and i know fishing on this pier like the back of my hand we dont catch huge rays at all for the most part in the 10lb range and we rarely catch threshers and halis and a sea bass is a once in a lifetime fish off that pier and i witnessed one. with all due respect dont falsely inform people of the fishing here i would hate for someone to do that to me..

@Wahoosify HEY. not all of us pier fishermen are messed up like that. Dont generalize us all as criminals! The correct solution is to make it mandatory to have a fishing license. Tear down a pier? Thats dumb. The majority of visitors to piers arent even fishermen. So those 'catfish ponds' are disposable because they arent piers? thats ridiculous!

i don't think tearing down pier would be an answer. I think we need to educate this new generation about the ethics of fishing so by the time they grow up they can make a change in the world...
