A quick field strip and cleaning of the XDm 5.25. Again, this is what I do, not necessarily what everybody ELSE does. It's worked for me over the years, and it continues to work.
We'll eventually post the actual video of shooting this gun before too long. :-)

  • Thanks for this vid; I'm one of the people who requested it.

Seems like I've often heard only to push cleaning patches through a barrel in one direction, something like that. But hickok didn't think twice about scrubbing back and forth. I'm not doubting the master, of course, but am I missing something?

  • @WarmMachineME, Might be better, but I've done it this way for 40 years with no ill effects. Your results may vary. :-)

  • i liked it better in the other place we could actually see the whole thing not that this is a bad video but that it was better in the older place

  • @lovinguns16, Liked WHAT better? What's the "older" place? :-)

  • I think you should do shotgun cleaning next hickok.

  • I almost expected a slow motion portion after the main part of the video. :)

  • T&E gun? Please elaborate...

  • what do you mean one level of cleaning and two levels, would your second level be the same exact thing again or more detailed

  • You are very liberal with that oil :-0

  • Well done, Sir, as always. Your videos are consistently the most useful I have seen on YOUTUBE as relates to firearms.

  • That Ballistol spraying in slo-mo at the end is absolutely epic.

  • i love his dry sense of humor.

  • We need a shotgun cleaning video please.

  • Hi ! Do you know if there's a way I can get some Ballistol back in France ?

  • Do you take the slide apart like a Glock?

  • LOL! Came to the wrong cleaning/reloading table, buddy!! Nice work Hickock! You are loved
