you can create your own app and publish it that other people can download. you can't do that in ipod touch.

It depends what you want. If all you care about is apps, get the iPod Touch. If you want a high quality multimedia player, get the Zune HD. If you don't care about apps and really want one with a camera, get the iPod Nano 5G

The ipod touch was a big disapointment to me this year, since it didnt have the camera built in, so i guess i'll wait till semptember for the new ipods to be released. The Zune HD is great, but doesnt offer as many features as I would like. And the iPod Nano is mainly only for music, I want other features too.

This is just my opinion so no one say any hate comments toward me.

I don't have any of the following MP3 players but, personally if I had to choose one, it would be the Zune HD, I mean you told us the key features? And EVERYONE has an Ipod touch, no one realizes Zune is just as good, or even better. Ipod beats it in some ways, and in some ways zune is better.

I would get the zune hd because:

It is basically the same price as the touch, but has 8GB more memory. It has a 16:9 ratio. It has a longer battery life, and it can play hd movies and hd radio.

the playing music ZUNE, for apps apple itouch, for battery life nano or zune, for slimness probs nano, for robustness i hear zune HD is good, depending which interface your used to i think metro is great because i have windows phone 7 and im currently running the developer preview of windows 8, so i full on metro! the zune is supported by a nvidia system on a chip which are so well balanced and reliable. i would go for zune myself just for the better music and metro experience.

people who bought the ipod touch and only play games and apps forgot the main reason what an mp3 or mp4 is supposed to do, to play music i my self have a zuneHD because the ipod was too expensive and 8 gb wasn't enough memory for me and the pod touch 4 gen is even bigger and wieghs more then the zuneHD itself apple can at least re think about the 8gb and change it to 16 Moral: if u want apps get ipod, if you want sound quality, and video get the Zune HD

alexmark ur stupid too. the zune hd is the best quality video you can get with a cheap music player. itouch's videos suck. itouch has ok music quality and the zune hd has amazing music quality not to mention the hd radio. plus there might be only 50 apps for the zune hd but they are all free and pretty awesome. the itouch has apps but every one has to be paid for for an actually good app. oh and another reason lex mark is stupid is because the zune hd is slimmer and lighter than the itouch
