A khutbah by shaykh Said Rageah on the hadith about the three people of the cave. The shaykh derives lessons we can take from this and implement in our daily lives.
Shaykh Said Rageah is a man well-known for grabbing the attention, pulling on your heart strings, make you laugh, and shed your tears all within the first 15 minutes of taking the stage. With a light-hearted and down-to-Earth character, Shaykh Said has the uncanny ability to connect with the youth and motivate them to action as he counsels them on various issues.
Born in Somalia, Shaykh Said later moved to North America in the late 80s. He has a B.A. in Islamic studies and an M.A. in the Shari'ah. He has had several posts over the years, including (but not limited to): founder of Masjid Huda in Montreal and Masjid Aya in Maryland, advisor for Muslim Youth magazine, and member in the Aqsa Association. He is also the founder of both Muslim Magazine and Al Aqsa Association. Furthermore he was a Chaplain at both the University of Calgary and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
He is currently the Imam of Abu Huraira Masjid in Toronto, Canada.
I was considering skipping a sunnah of mine today after 29 days of maintaining it. Not gunna doing that now alhamdullilAh!
Thanks a lot for uploading and may Allah SWT increase the shaykh in piety. amin.

@MsSoysauce67 The shaykh is not speaking about the companions of the cave from surat al-kahf. He's talking about a different story from an authentic hadeeth of the Prophet (saws). I'm sure you knew that already, probably just forgot and got it mixed up :)

Assalamu Alaykum,Nice lecture! i just wish to comment something about the companions of the Cave.in my own understanding, these companions were running from people who worshipped idols not to look for provisions for their Family.
Surah 18:16, "When you turn away from them and the things they Worship other than ALLAH,betake yourselves to the CAVE.Your Lord will shower His mercies on you and dispose of your affair toward comfort and ease"
