A look inside a tragedy through the eyes of a survivor. Based on actual events, April Showers is about picking up the pieces in the direct aftermath of school violence. Set in a middle class suburban neighborhood, April Showers focuses on the lives of a handful of teachers and students as they attempt to make sense of a world that has just been turned upside down by one of their own. With the community and an entire nation caught up in the 'story', the students of Jefferson High must turn to one another for answers. In the wake atrocity, the rifts caused by misinformation and a frenzied media prove difficult to overcome. Lost and lonely under the international spotlight, one young man navigates his way through his almost indiscernible home. From quaint suburban town to battlefield turned media circus, Jefferson High provides the backdrop for Sean's struggle to cope with the loss of his friend April.

The movie is now on Netflix, I just saw it. It is truly amazing what people can go through and overcome horrific events. But I would like to know what the song is for the ending, I can't seem to find it anywhere. Plus I think people should watch this movie, it isn't a horrible movie in anyway. The Story is pretty much based on real events, this movie really brings you back to earth and realize what can happen.

This looks exactly like the Columbine incident. Either way, it looks really good. Indies are always the better films :)

This movie is by far my favorite movie. I watch it over and over again! It never gets old. It's imost definitely one of the saddest movies I have ever seen and I cry until it hurts everytime! I recommend this movie, it helped me see things differently. Honestly it's had a huge impact on my life. Honestly.

you can tell that the teacher at the start is meant to be dave sanders from columbine, i want to get this movie but my dad said im sick in the mind if anybody wants to watch this movie and i was like wtf its like watching any other movie and this movie looks really good

this movie made me cry soo much, i cried at the end ALOT. i can't help but think what if this were me? what if this happened to me? what if i lost my boyfriend? it really hurt. it felt like you were in the movie with the kids. the emotions were very strong. verrrry good movie. i never realized how bad this was. i now realize. i recommend people to watch this <3 i hope this never happens again. nobody deserves to go like this.

@kpernod30 Your point is what? I believe in G-d too (I'm Jewish ). You might have read where I said that. However, people don't need to believe in any type of higher power to be moral. You implied they do. Atheists are often just as moral as believers. You can put all the religion into schools you like (and believe me, public school is FULL of indoctrinating students to religion even though it isn't supposed to), it'll just mean the sociopaths are religious now instead of secular.
