Hi Steve: Thanks for posting all these videos. You have put in a lot of work.
It looks like you haven't switched the caps. How long does it take the caps to discharge after you flip the breaker? Does the brick keep running for a while after you flip off the breaker?

Yes the cell runs for a bit and the caps take about 15 secs to discharge.

delvis11, nice work. I was looking at your circuit and it looks like you're only using half of each bridge. The neutral wire in a 220V line is essentially a dead wire (no current flow). The diodes connected to it will never conduct. Remove the neutral wire and the neutral jumper and the circuit will work the same. Then add jumpers between the AC terminals of each bridge to start using the other diodes. This is equivalent to one bridge with doubled diodes. (half the load on each diode)

so essentially your saying put a 110vac wire on both ac terminals of the bridge??

Yes, a jumper from one AC terminal to the other AC terminal on the same bridge. Do that for both bridges. Be sure to remove all your neutral connections or you'll short out. Essentially you're creating one "super duty" bridge rectifier from the two. It would be the same electrically as parallel connecting the two rectifiers to 220 volts.
