put the suburu engine in the mustangs body and then face the same mirro mustang BUT THIS MUSTANG HAS STOCK V8 then stock v8 nwould eat it alive

power to weight ratio.....take the turbo out and face a n/a gt wouldnt even stand a chance further more awd

@conrow12345 turbo 4 bangers in a lighter car can easly keep up with a V8, theres no question about that...but lets be real, the only way these sti's can hold there worth against the Mustangs and camaro's is because there AWD.
and as much as i love american muscle, imports, and euro cars... theres nothing i hate more then when kids bragg there sti can dust a muscle car.... but ONLY if the race is in the favor, doing a rolling start especialy at hwy speeds or uphill, hole diffrent outcome

a stock gt will loss by about 2 lengths (naturaly asperated) and i call bullshit saying the sti lost traction on the start. ITS ALL WHEEL DRIVE any dumbass can launch a sti perfectly. and the mustang spun waaaaaay more then the sti.
but i do like both cars would be very happy to own either

Not trying to pick a fight here , But... 75% of a cars ass whooping ability lies in the DRIVER and the launch. I have a 2011 WRX (non-STI) only pushing 340 hp. and I walk all over pimple-faced kids in GTs and 5.0s on a daily basis . spinning tires =lost races period.
