If Elton John is the Rocket Man, and Billy Joel the Piano Man, Iggy is the Wild One. Even though he's in his 60's here, back in Detroit at places like the Grande Ballroom, I can assure you, he is the The Wild One. This is the man who was stage diving in 1966/67/68, you never knew what he was going to do. As I recall, and maybe I am mistaken, there was a lot of great bands in Detroit in those days, he even broke bottles on stage and danced around in the shards.. You have no clue how wild.

I love Iggy but this performance is aids, the backing band certainly doesn't help nor does the song. He really should of done a song off either his first 2 solo albums or done a Stooges song that wasn't off The Weirdness. I guess that might not of appealed to the American Idol audience though.
