first of all we are not a fuckin club. we not a organization we are a tribe

Since when the Cherokee nation is an "all whites club"? It is open for those who can legally prove they had ancestors on the Dawes roll, but only 20 percent of the known Cherokee diaspora belongs to the 3 federally recognized tribes. The CNO admits to poorly misjudged African American "freedmen" whom culturally belonged to the Cherokee in Oklahoma. The Cherokee had slavery & somehow admitted freed black slaves into the tribe & some Cherokees may have African ancestry a.k.a "black Cherokees". +

u idiots.. cherokee woman were raped by those white men.. and forced to be civilized and give away their land.. the cherokees gave in to the europeans.. due to all the indians they killed.. light skined or not.. the spirit of the cherokee lives on...
I have a quote for u assholes!~
""Cherokee blood, if not destroyed, will win it's courses in beings of fair complexions, who will read that their ancestors became civilized under the frowns of misfortunes, and the causes of their enemies." "

What a shame if you have Indian blood you have it. Black Cherokee people have as much right as the Anglo Indians do. They all looked practically white. I bet their ancestors would be pissed of their actions

The Cherokee Look white, and not native anymore.

These look like white women and men all but one the indian looks like its been breed out of them thats probably why they are called so called cherokee the same for the freedmen to most have predominently african features and fry there hair to try to fit in

Invoking the words of Abraham Lincoln and Dr. Martin Luther King certainly does not lend support to your movement. Your point is you want Cherokee Freedman to be admitted to the Cherokee Nation and receive the benifits of this action. Invoking the scenes from Montgomery AL. in 1963 and throwing pictures up calling people racist is not going to win support here. This looks more like racist calling the pot the kettle. Think about it.
The final mistake is calling for the help of Jesse Jackson.

yeah don't ask for jesse jackson ask for someone who loves all colors.

Are you for real? Did you even take the time to do your research on the matter? I am sick of the race card getting thrown around. Look at the documentation and constitution. I agree with Hummingbird, showing pictures of Dr. King and using his words will not help you here. I think the question, "Why are you fighting for this" needs to be posed. Somewhere along the way people got the idea that Native Americans get everything for free. Can someone explain to me why we live in poverty?
