It has been awesome to see the residents learning to use Skype and the computer. This not only has allowed them to form a bond with the children, but also to find out that the computer is not just a big box sitting on the table.
This has been a wonderful intergenerational project between the students of Greystone and the seniors of Greenbriar at the Altamont. Many thanks go to Dr. Aldridge, Susan Larkin and the Hoover Foundation for making this possible. Also, thanks goes out to the seniors who are willing to try something new and stepping out of their comfort zone. Learning history from the people who were there, makes learning all the more fun. - C. Whitworth
