Poor Billy Has A Mucus Cough

12 year old Billy the beagle seems to have picked up a kennel cough. Thing is, she hasn't been around any dogs of late. Strange. We got her some antibiotics and in the past few days the mucus has stopped and the cough episodes are getting less frequent. Throughout these past few days her appetite and energy levels have remained unchanged. So it seems our girl is on the upswing. We'll keep you posted.

Actually, no, I don't remember what kind of antibiotic they prescribed. Not sure if that's what did the trick, but it's been 6 months and Billy hasn't had a problem since.

Well, it's been three weeks and Billy's cough is pretty much gone. The antibiotics may have helped or the cough just ran it's course. Either way, she's back to normal.
