@Antlion1001 Think of how often you replace the starter motor, the windshield wiper motor, the CD ejection motor on your radio, the electric windows motor... Electric motors require almost NO maintenance. they have INCREDIBLE torque (meaning they have FAST acceleration) and, importantly, they do NOT use oil products from the wealthiest corporations in the history of the planet.

I know the first question I ask when I see it shouldn't be "How much before it breaks?", but does anyone know? If I have to lay the bike or something happens will it still be good to go after I pick myself up?
