Moguts per la crisi, els governs han començat a apostar pel Business Angels, mecanismes de col·laboració en xarxes que poden atraure inversors i potenciar la creació de mercat. Amb un seguit d'ajudes en incentius fiscals, el govern català, pretén incentivar aquesta mena de col·laboracions i oferir noves oportunitats de negoci.

Idees força:


- "In April 2009, Science and Innovation Commission of the Spanish Parliament pointed out the important role of Business Angels in a moment of economic downturn like the actual one and asked the Spanish Government to recognize this figure and regulate their activities before the end of 2009."

- "The necessity to create mechanisms of collaboration within Business Angels Networks and to regulate tax incentives for financing activities through the figure of Business Angels and risk investors has been emphasized by different political groups. Abad considers 'extremely urgent' that European Parliament and government develop legal and tax frameworks for Business Angels activities."

- "Business Angels activities in Spain are developing quite well according to 2008 ESBAN data. Moreover, the Catalan Government is ready to make a proposal on tax incentives addressed to Business Angels and related to IRPF (Income Tax for Citizens). This is a pioneering measure in Spain which will put pressure on other regional governments to do the same. Challenges and opportunities are bigger than ever."
