Yep - Flying into any backcountry strip demands that you be able to set the plane down at exactly the spot that you intend to.
Approach too fast and you'll get to 'float' a bit and there usually isn't room for much of that. Glad you liked the vid. I'll try to put some more stuff up soon.

The M7 with VGs lands pretty slow - approach at no more than 50kts with full flaps. The wind sock at the crest of the runway is where you aim for to touch down on this strip. Maybe the camera made it look fast???
