I walked home from school after thsi and it was insane, about halfway through one of my uncles found me and gave me a ride home, i couldnt even get to my house by car the roads were all b locked off. Trust me these photos dont do justice to what it was actually like

I had a nice lovely tree through my house.

market st. in marion looked like it had gone to hell and back. when we were driving down the road we were brought to tears. horrific!

yes it was a derecho, dont let anyone tell you this was a hurricane, the only thing hurricane like about it was the wind speeds which were clocked at 106 mph at peak gust. and yes it was shaped very much like a derecho, swirl and bow echo. sorry to break anyones heart who thought this was a tropical hurricane. it had no name. therefore derecho. end of story kids. good game.

HOW DID YOU MAKE A VIDEO PF PICS? I LIVE IN WEST FRANKFORT AND took lots of pics as well of southern illinois and would like to make a video as well.

Well, if you are running a computer with Windows, you can use Windows Movie Maker. It is a fairly self-explanatory process, but there are surely guides plastered all over the internet about using it.
