"From the Relay Race to the Costume Contest, it's been a great month of competition and fund raising. We are all overly impressed with your efforts and great ideas: * Selling Bracelets at Union Station * The Swear Jar * On-site bake sales *Jelly Bean guess to win a new bike * "Government Brown" Charity Concert at Scallywags * The mysterious LETTER BOMB!!!
And many many more great ideas and efforts by our staff all in the name of raising money for a great cause. I can't tell you how proud I am of all of you. I always knew we had a great staff! And now we have proven we have a socially conscience staff as well.
You have all worked very hard on this, and I want to thank all of you. But I want to give a special thanks to those of you who planned the event...
...It was a close contest. All the teams worked hard to get over the mark but there has to be one winner."
