@Maliceyee u are probably a white mother fucka sitting behind the anominity of the computer i knoew u wouldnt say that to any black person and you should worry about what western companies do on a daily basis arround the world than these poor africans fuckin idiot

@tetekofa Belgium could be build on other trees too. If those ppl wouldnt cut them down, we would find other ways.
That doesn't talk this right. This is ILLEGAL logging inside a RESERVED area.
They should not be logging there, and only do it on places provided.
I agree, the only way to stop this is not buying those logs. That is where the western world brings in its effort.
Those niggers don't care, and the buyers don't care. They have equal guilt. They only care about their own pockets.

@Maliceyee Belgium was built with these trees from Africa, thanks to King Leopold. Maybe you should educate yourself about King Leopold before you start running your mouth.

The major problem is related to how lucrative the business is. Ghanean law states that the official sawmills have to sell at least 40% of their production to the local market. However, on the local market they get maybe 10 to 50 euro for a cubic meter of mahogany. On the global market they may get up to 2000 euro for the same cubic meter. So all official sawmills are only exporting, resulting in a lack of cheap timber on the local market.
