The Ventures still make a good business in Japan. Japan is like a museum of music history, old music that American people hardly listen to still have good amount of followers. From modern jazz music to, lately shred, metal guitars. Some of them move there and live there.

Musicians make successful career in US, then retire in Japan.

...Just a note,,thay like high end audio to play that music on most high end from the states,,But there starting to flood the states now, the last 10 years or so with cheeper and still great sounding stereo gear Or thay will send the US the cheep Sony.yamaha,crap and keep the good Yamaha,,Sony crap...4 themself,s
