This video begins with FSU's two point conversion attempt, while trailing 26-25 with 42 seconds remaining.

Post game comments from Bowden and Johnson.

BTW, when Michael Irvin stops flatfooted at game's end while running toward the Miami fans in celebration, it's because of a German Shepherd police dog that was held loosely and reacted swiftly and aggressively toward Irvin as he approached. The dog doesn't show up on the tape and wasn't mentioned by Musberger or Haden, but that's what happened.

  • Heated rivalry and I understand posts may reference the current year matchup, particularly as we get closer. But stay away from the profanity and slurs. I had to delete several posts a few minutes ago.

Other uploaders may not mind that type of language but they are my primary annoyance and there's no use posting comments like that because they'll be gone as soon as I spot them.

  • @FRSFreeStateNow Well I don't know if we'd have won it all every time if we'd beaten them. However, in 1987, '88, '90, '91 and '92 Miami either gave us our first or only lost. Also keep in mind that these years were during our big run, where we never lost more than two games in a year. My guess is we'd have more than 2 National Championships. I hate those Canes...

  • If only Tallahassee could've gotten past Miami how many National Championships they would've won

  • lol. DAMN YOU MIAMI!!!

I just shake my head and wonder how FSU has had such bad luck against Miami. Hopefully in the 21st century the luck will balance out with some Miami GW FG misses.

  • Rasta19856, stop talkin and just bring it bitch!

  • Oh and by the way 5 national championships. go canes

  • @Jagnole101 *Later on they took they them off the schedule when they knew they couldn't beat them. FSU still believes in playing anyone anytime anywhere(Oklahoma at Norman last year- only lost twice in 11 years)

  • Just like with Nebraska in the '83 title game, FSU got stupid. It's my fault for watching this video, but damn it makes me mad to know we should have more titles. And the Gators can talk about their mulligan title in '96..and having more championships, but they FSU at least didn't take Miami off the schedule when they were the Miami.

  • @kcthatsawinner Vinny Testaverde wasn't the Miami QB that afternoon. It was Steve Walsh.

  • While Vinny Testaverde had a brilliant NFL career, Danny McManus was a legend in the CFL, guiding the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to the 1999 Grey Cup. Last month Danny was inducted into the CFL Hall of Fame. Danny McManus was one of Bobby Bowden's best QB's, and now he's in the CFL Hall of Fame.
