@McDhol1 trust me if your dhol is made properly( seasoned well, taken care of properly, the inside is sanded smooth to prevent the grooves from sucking up the sound, and with application of masala on the wood and let the dhol absorb the nutirents from the laung and jaiphal and the desi kyo to act as a moisturizer) you don`t need a mic when playing with songs in halls, I sanded the inside of my dhol when I got it and noticed that it was more louder after sanding the inside smooth.

the mixes are fairly basic however the timing throughout is spot on ... :D
