I'm a big In Flames fan, but theres just something about this that doesnt sound like them.

@SilentPhantom007 Actually noise is a type of music, which is badass itself, Slipknot is also badass, they were good until they started adding guitar solos the solo period is when they got generic (When I say solos I mean Vol 3 and the new album)

@Zando24 i had the idea that In Flames sold out for a long time, but now i see that not many bands were doing this kind of style back in 2002. i think this album really influenced the "screams for verses, cleans for choruses" trend. also, no bands of this style were using synths at that time. so if anything, they were taking a gamble and making a unique record, unsure of what people would think of it. theyve never been a "safe" band, and they never write the same record twice.

Reroute To Remain is actually the first In Flames album i ever heard....but my favorites are now Whoracle,Colony and Clayman and ofcourse The Jester Race...but honestly all of their albums are Great..
