culaytayta you should probably get a new stainless flex...and if you are you should get a speedyvalve by floodmaster. Check it out on you tube. Because that one is old like the valve and it will prob not want to go on right.

I just replaced my toilet and the only problem I faced is my old supply line is stainless steel with metal nuts on both ends, and my new toilet has under the toilet basin is a plastic male adapter. Do I need to get a plastic nut supply line to hook under the basin to the plastic male adapter?

My home is new and they use a pex-type plastic valve that does not allow me to unscrew the supply line at the valve, it looks like it is crimped on. How do I replace that one?
