The FSU Symphonic Band performing Lauds (Praise High Day) composed by Ron Nelson. This concert was their last concert of the Spring semester and featured pieces that are cornerstones in Wind Band literature as apart of a tribute to the 100 year anniversary of First Suite in Eb by Gustav Holst.

  • Great piece, but that organ is fugly.

  • @BigEridgewayhigh13 I was a trumpet player in the osceola band(:

  • I like this song but...I have seen high school bands play it better and with bands about a third of the number of people playing it. And the bands I am talking about have more sound than these guys

  • @460678 that's what she said

  • @BandGeek4396 who were you?

  • I love this song. 4 octave range for the French Horns=killer fun times

  • We played this at the FSU summer camp this year(: it's interesting to contrast the high school and college sound of this piece

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! i played the piccolo part on this in 2002. did some searches for this song and was disappointed by the piccolo part every time until i found this! AMAZING JOB! finally nice to hear someone else who can play that part! :)
