Shadow The Hedgehog: Hero Story - Stage 1 Westopolis (1)

Walkthrough part 1.
Shadow is seen standing outside of a city, wondering who he really is. Suddenly, aliens attack the city. Shadow showing no concern for the ones in danger is about to leave, but is stopped by Black Doom. Black Doom tells Shadow that if he wants to know about the past, he needs to bring him the Chaos Emeralds. Shadow seeing that this is his chance to get to know his past, he head toward the city that has become a battlefield.
Goes through Stage 1 Westopolis.

I got a question:

1: If you choose Evil mission, will the alien creatures help you defeating soldiers and will the soldiers attacking you? And if you choose Hero mission vica versa?
