thanks for posting this. i used to live in beacon and i wanted to know how it looked up there. where exactly are those first hudson river shots?

That was at the Chelsea Waterfront near the Yacht Club. North of Beacon about 5 miles. That one shot of the flooded parking lot at night was from the Beacon Train Station.

I grew up in W.F. Incredible seeing how high the water was under the bridge in the Village. The drop from that water pipe is usually a little over 25 feet. It's less than 10' there... The smaller bridge... is that the small bridge behind the Dutchess County airport on Jackson Road?

My Moms house is where the creek and the hudson meet(house on the hill with all the sliding glass windows)

I remember when the creek would flood like that. Real bad currents would rip our docks out.

This is terrible. I'm sorry for all the residents who will lose their homes from this. I know it's a very bad situation. I hope the gov't steps in and gives you some help.
