************ READ ME! ************

Thanks. :)

This is my submission video to compete on G4's American Ninja Warrior 3, taking place May 16th and 17th in Venice Beach, California. ANW2 last year was a blast, so naturally I have to try again.

Since ANW2, my training has changed significantly. The biggest difference is that I rarely complete my obstacles one at a time anymore. Instead, I have positioned them in a sort of course so I can practice my over speed, focus and endurance any time I want. You'll also notice (if you didn't already know) that I've added three new obstacles to my backyard since ANW2: the Rope Swing, (accurate) Jumping Bars and a monstrous Warped Wall standing at 15' 2". Each of these obstacles last time slowed me down significantly and... well, I'd rather that not be the case anymore, so I built them. Other changes to my training include shifted focuses/goals, more of some types of training, less of others, more focus on nutrition, blah blah blah. I won't bore you with the details. :)

I'm also fine-tuning my training book so I can re-release it at ANW3 (I handed a few copies out at ANW2). The book is essentially a summary of my notes and personal thoughts on training as a whole, including, but not limited to: how to achieve goals, some general guidelines, a list of the exercises that I feel are effective and a crash course in diets, nutrition, weight loss, etc.. Basically, if you're clueless about training but you want to start, this should help you. If anybody at ANW3 wants a copy, let me know. We'll find each other and you'll get one, free o' charge!

That's about it, I think. Any questions, comments, criticism, etc., just post it below or shoot me a PM. Enjoy the show. :)

  • Awesome music btw.

  • @destructionman1 Thank you. I highly recommend the OC Remix torrents. They contain hundreds of songs and hours of listening pleasure, all for free. :)

  • Dude, I wish I had your stamina and drive. I've been watching ANW for a longgg time, and it always makes me want to try and train...But then I lose interest, and I can never get enough money to build any of the obstacles. I'd love to get my hands on one of your training books, but my mom won't even let me near California (she doesn't want me competing because it's "a man's show"). Good luck to you though!

  • @SomethingObnoxious Your mother's attitude is very wrong. If you find motivation to actually pursue training seriously, feel free to message me for tips/help.

  • did you build that ultimate cliff hanger all alone

  • @lampini Built it alone, yes. Standing it up was a different story.

  • Very nice job! I started some very basic training a couple of weeks ago being influenced by my brother-in-law. I have a long way to go, but am hoping to be in a good enough condition to ask for submission in ANW5. Watching you do that is really inspiring! Thanks!
