Beethoven Sonata Op.31 "Tempest"
III. Allegretto 1st Version, Gabriel Cano performed at the Newark School of the Arts, Live! in June 2006 when he was 16. Please, this piece studied for only three months along with the second & third mov. and one of the Rachmaninoff Etudes. So there was no time to focus on the soul. This is a very dificcult piece and for someone with the experience of Gebriel, at that time could only focus on the notes only.

  • La tecnica ce l'hai, devi però curare un pò di più il suono e andare leggermente più lento, in fondo non è un presto agitato ma un allegretto

  • @0syntrax0 His decision as to dry pedalling is a legitimate artistic decision. I personally would use more pedal. Beethoven did not prescribe any pedalling which leaves the decision open.

  • Excellent playing.

  • this is fantastic

  • Maybe vary the Dynamics, and take another look at the mordents.. Apart from that, great!

  • @hxc4328 c'est bien qu'il continu parce qu'il est vraiment fort!!!! ;)

  • @elisdagbok He has practised it enough not to need them anymore :) I do that as well, though I have them on the piano just in case.
