  • I miss hearing that from my CL =(.....and posting about it like yours over on AcuraZine

  • @miccris93 Same here :( I was GhettoNinja06 on the forums and posted alot like 2 years ago. It was my passion thats for sure.

  • Do you have any sort of engine management hardware installed? Also what brand are your headers and exhaust. Is this run with the original auto transmission/have you had any transmission issues? I ask b/c I just bought a 99 CL 3.0. Thanks!

  • @mpgattuso1 No engine managemant software. the headers were bought on ebay (dont remember brand) I had 130,XXX miles on it when i sold it on its original tranny and had no problems. We did a poll on the forums and it turned out I was in 2nd or 3rd with most miles on original tranny. I would definitely get a tranny cooler. Enjoy your CL man! They are great cars if you maintain them right.

  • you have to have more than just an intake. theres no way i simple intake gave you 66horses

  • You are correct actually, that would be 66+ horses if the drivetrain % loss it at 15%. Idk what the drivetrain loss is with these cars so I just set it at 15% on the dyno. 0-60 and 1/8 mile times are accurate though.

  • It seems like the CL's pull harder than the Accord V6's!

  • i just got a 97cl 3.0 . what upgrades did you put ?

  • @DragonNinja06 Thanks for the response. My CL is at around 134,XXX right now and is doing pretty well. I will definitely get a tranny cooler before next summer roles around. The colder weather right now definitely makes it feel happier. All the best!

  • @fliplyricist1 Look, u need to do research or look at my video. An automatic shifts at the redline, and the car is around 3,200 lbs and if was running nitrous, that car would b hell of a lot faster than that! Trust me, my 3.0 runs almost as quick as this guys, but I dont have headers. Just intake and exhaust.

  • wtf, how do you get that kind of pull from 0-80 on a 3.0? The car is heavy. Stock times should be around high 7's to low 8's. You must be running nitrous or something, as standard bolt on's won't give you that kind of performance. Also, how were you shifting at redline?
